To change the base line of a linear, arc, or line string form

Clear all settings in the Modify Form Orientation tool settings window.
Select the Modify Form Orientation tool.
Identify a linear, arc, or line string form. A red arrowhead appears, pointing along the axis of the form’s placement and in the direction of the orientation, and appears next to the form’s base line, which is the side aligned with the placement point.
To switch the base line of the form, turn on Side in the Modify Form Orientation tool settings window.
Accept the selection with a data point. The red arrowhead associated with the selected form moves to the opposite side of the form, indicating the base line has changed.
